We came in from I-39. No signs at all. Ended up on a county gravel pig trail for about 1/2 mile. Said something in the office and they questioned why we came in that way instead of on I-74 (all paved) . They said lots of folk's gps units off 39 take them the way we came in. We had called in advance for reservations and no one asked where we were coming from, nor suggested we go past to get on I-74 and come in that way. Park itself was fine.

This is a very well-maintained, attractive camp surrounded by corn and soybean fields. It is a bit tight getting a big rig in and out, but proceed slowly and you'll be OK. Its right beside the interstate and is noisy all the time, but once in your rig, you'll sleep well. There is a railroad track along the other side, and early-morning trains can be expected. The area is scattered with small, farm towns filled with agri-business shops, family restaurants, lovely 19th and early-20th century architecture, and some of the most beautiful country homes you'll ever see. The RV camp has good facilities and spaces for pets and kids. We stayed 4 days in 10/17 and would certainly return.

Great place to stay with level gravel RV pads, pull through sites, sewer connection at site, playground, dog areas, seasonal pool, picnic area, tent sites, flower gardens, awesome staff. Super hot showers with awesome water pressure! Pulled in late and was greeted with a welcoming smile by Cliff who directed us personally to our site. Nice pull through sites, easy to get into even at night, hard packed gravel pad is quite level. Affordable, and Good Sam club members get a discount. Only drawback for me is highway noise, but that’s to be expected when staying so close to a highway. Clean grounds and safe environment. Was easy to find using google maps navigation (we came in after dark).

We're from the local area and enjoy weekends at Kamp Komfort. The owner is very nice - doing some of the maintenance himself. Prices are very reasonable. There is highway noise (something you trade off for being so close to the Interstate), but the noise does not bother my wife or I. We come back here often and would recommend this location to anyone!

Beautiful small campground. Some highway noise, restroom/showers not like mine at home, packed (hard) chat rather than concrete pads - but, extremely well kept grounds, everything works, nice playground area, great pool for the size campground & we only met very friendly, helpful in the office and at other campers. Very happy with our choice and hope we get a chance to stay again.
